We are currently hiring for the position of Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager is a key member of our opening team. Sales Manager has the primary responsibility for selling and servicing events. Proficiency with Triple Seat is a plus. Daily responsibilities are strongly focused on customer service.
Sales Manager will be contacting guests by email and phone. Excellent written and verbal skills are necessary. Proper phone etiquette is essential for success in this position. Sales Manager will also prepare and review contracts with guests. Sales manager will have efficient and thorough system for daily management of bookings, data and contacts consistent with Hibernia's sales process. Excellent documentation and note-taking skills are of primary importance for this position.
Sales Manager will uphold property standards at all levels; this key position is responsible for providing guests with a variety of sales options to maximize the guests satisfaction.
This position is primarily guest facing, however, the Sales Manager will also be responsible for preparing sales reports, attending weekly sales meetings, and must be able to work to plan to achieve established sales goals.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years (or equivalent) prior experience selling private events in luxury hotel, fine dining food and beverage establishment or private club/hospitality environment is required
Event Planning experience - complete sales cycle contact to follow up
Professional appearance and attire
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
Excellent judgement and serious concern for upholding property safety and sanitation standards
Reliable
Motivated to continuous improvement
